Boruto Chapter 20 came out a couple of days ago, and there was a lot of interesting stuff we got to see this month. It looks like Ikemoto is finally picking up the pace, and I have a lot of positive things to say about the chapter. It was well drawn, and the art had improved a lot. We also got an epic clash between Ao and Team 7 as well.
I never thought that Ao would be this relevant to the story, but looks like Ikemoto has turned him into a complete monster here. Konohamaru was also seen fighting for the first time in this chapter, and he did okay. He was taken by surprise using Ao’s Ninja technology, and had to retreat.
However, the battle is far from over yet. Ao is planning to get rid of Team 7, while Boruto and Konohamaru prepare for battle. Meanwhile, the others are given the scroll of information which they have to take back to Konohagakure in any case. The next chapter of Boruto will be pretty intense in my opinion. We’ll see the conclusion of the Ao fight, and hopefully within a chapter or two, this arc will end as well.
As great as chapter 20 was, there was some that I’m not sure if fans noticed or not. If i remember correctly, Boruto is serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump, but published only once a month as a monthly manga. On the other hand, Naruto came out on a weekly basis.
However, to make up for that, we get a color cover, or color page every month in Boruto. However, surprisingly that wasn’t the case this month. We didn’t get a color cover. Now, to many, this may not be a big deal. It is possible that he wasn’t able to finish it in time, and so we didn’t get a color cover this month. However, there is another possibility. Ikemoto was told to do a color cover every month because they wanted to maintain the popularity of Boruto.
But, I don’t think Boruto manga is selling as well as the thought it would. Because of that, it is possible that they have completely scrapped the idea of having a color panel in every chapter. This is very worrying, in my opinion. If Boruto isn’t as popular, then that would mean it’s not going to last, and there have been cases where manga have been unpublished. Hopefully, that won’t be the case with Boruto, and we get back to a color cover from next month.

7 Boruto Characters Who Might Inherit Tailed Beast Powers
Tailed Beast powers, along with dōjutsu, are the strongest assets anyone can have in the world of Naruto. There is a total of 9 Tailed Beasts, and two of them have Jinchuuriki as well. However, with each generation comes a new group of ninjas that inherit some powers. Here are 7 characters who I think might inherit Tailed Beast Chakra.
7. Boruto Uzumaki
Boruto Uzumaki is the son of the Seventh Hokage of Konohagakure. You all probably know that Naruto Uzumaki is the Jinchuuriki of the Nine Tails, and he also has the chakra of all other Tailed Beasts. At some point, he would have to choose a successor, and I think Boruto might just be that person.
6. Shinki
Shinki is the adopted son of Gaara. Just like Gaara, he might get Tailed Beast powers as well. I would love to see him become the Jinchuuriki of the One Tail. That would give in immense power, and it would allow him to compete against the likes of Boruto, and Sarada.
5. Yurui
Yurui is a Genin from Kumogakure. Just like Naruto, Killer Bee is a perfect Jinchuuriki as well. But Bee won’t be the Jinchuuriki of Gyuki forever. When the time comes to choose a successor, I think it would make sense for Yurui to be chosen, since he is the strongest Genin they have.
4. Himawari Uzumaki
Himawari Uzumaki is the daughter of Naruto. Like Boruto, Himawari might also inherit the Tailed Beast Chakra. Conveniently, Kurama is split into Yin, and Yang. It is possible for her to inherit one of the halves.
3. Jigen
Jigen is the leader of the Kara. He is after powers that are connected with the Otsutsuki Clan. It isn’t too out there to assume that he could have access to Tailed Beast power. That’s probably what he’s after anyway. Hopefully, we’ll find out as the series progresses.
